Maybe you’re asking yourself , should you really buy a car this holiday season?
Well let’s talk about it!
In order to come up with your answer, you need to figure out what your needs are.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself when deciding if a new car is what you need.
Does the car you already own:
Fit Your Family?
If you’re still trying to squish four kids into the backseat of a 5 passenger car (I’ve seen it done!), then upgrading to a new car this holiday season is probably a good choice for your family.
Whether you spend a lot of time or a little time in your vehicle, you want everyone to be comfortable. Plus, the kids are only going to get bigger. If they’re crowded now, they’ll be squished in years to come. You might want to think about upgrading as soon as possible.
I know what it’s like to drive a car that you have to constantly turn down the radio to make sure it’s still running…not fun! Having a vehicle that runs and drives well gives you so much peace of mind as a parent. Plus you know you won’t be late to any appointments, meetings or extracurricular activities (not because of your car, anyway!) if you buy a new car.
Check all the Boxes?
Meaning, do you like it? As much time as we spend in our cars, it’s a shame if we don’t like what we’re driving. I personally see a huge difference when I’m driving something I love…I actually enjoy driving, even just getting out of the house and running errands!
Answering the questions above will help you decide if you should really buy a car this holiday season, and if a new car purchase is right for you.
Do you see a new car in your future? Would love to hear about the car of your dreams in the comments!
