Laundry. Although we need to do it, we hate it, we look far and wide for laundry tips to make the job easier.
If you’re a mom, doing laundry has likely become so much more than an occasional chore. It’s that daily in-your-face annoying task that never ends, no matter how much of it you do.
But what if I told you that there are laundry tips that really can help you tame the laundry monster?

Easier said than done, you say? Maybe, but these things can help.
Making sure each one of my kids has their own laundry hamper is critical in keeping my laundry organized. Four kids, four kid’s bedrooms, four laundry hampers. Easy peasy. No more gigantic piles of dirty clothes in the bathroom. If it belongs to you, when you’re finished wearing it, it belongs in your hamper. Period.
I have three laundry baskets that I use, and trust me, usually all three are in use daily. Having a few baskets allows me to have multiple loads done and stashed in various parts of the house, where other people can…wait for it…fold their own laundry! And then, guess what they do?
Put it away!
Which brings us to tip #2.
After years and years of doing everything for everyone, guess what I discovered? Kids can do their own laundry! (Who would’ve thought?!)
Now don’t get me wrong, my kids aren’t babies (and if they still were, I’d still be doing their laundry. Right after I kissed their sweet chubby cheeks of course!) but they are at the age that they can pretty much do their own stuff. I do still help my baby, she’s 10 (yes she’s still my baby!). But she’s really good about folding and putting away her own clothes. She’ll even switch her load from the washer to the dryer if I ask her to.
I think as moms, we take on so much. And we’re hesitant to let the kids help much, because we like things to be a certain way, or maybe we feel guilty for asking them to help. But we shouldn’t. Like I tell my kids, they all help mess up the house, they can all do chores and help clean it.. Same goes with laundry. It doesn’t hurt them to take care of the clothes they wear. Maybe they won’t be so quick to throw those items that they only wore an hour or two in the dirty laundry if they have to wash it all themselves, am I right?
Laundry Stain Removers
Having the right laundry products makes the job of doing laundry a whole lot easier. Why? Because you won’t have to rewash items that didn’t get clean the first time. Stain Removers are a must at my house, because from the time my kids were babies, they were either throwing up or pooping on every item of clothing they owned. (Not to mention every item of clothing that I owned!) Now that they’re older, those stains have been replaced with food, coffee, and makeup stains. In other words, I still use a stain remover! Ever since we got our vented integrated tumble dryer our place is much less humid and it doesn’t smell like lint all the time, I’m very happy about that. I would say that, proper equipment is a must, but I know, fully well, that sometimes, being a parent means making due with less than optimal.
My favorite stain remover is not only all natural and eco-friendly, but it comes right to my door every month, or as often as I need it. I love Seventh Generations Natural Stain Remover Spray. It’s free of dyes and synthetic fragrances and has triple enzymes to fight the toughest stains.
