When you have kids, it’s tough to keep your dining chairs clean. Let’s face it, it’s not a meal if there’s not a spill! At our house, we’ve found something that makes mealtime a little less stressful.

If you have wooden chairs then cleaning can be a little easier, after all, you can simply wipe them down. But this doesn’t save the chair itself from stains, not to mention scratches, that could cause permanent damage.
Then again, if you have an upholstered chair, you might not have to worry about scratches, but it’s all about the stains! (It’s all about that stain, about that stain, no cover! Sorry a little late night musical humor there!)
So what’s the best way to keep your chairs clean and protected?
I’ve found that using chair covers are the best way to keep our dining chairs clean, and my favorite cover is the SmartSeat Chair Cover.
SmartSeat Chair Covers were invented by a mom (go figure! ) who couldn’t find a simple, waterproof and attractive protective cover for her chairs. She didn’t want sticky, squeaky, vinyl covers so armed with scissors and a stapler (she can’t sew!) she fashioned the first SmartSeat chair cover.
You can use the cover on different sizes and styles of chairs, and they come in five different colors so you can choose the one that best fits your decor.
SmartSeat Chair Covers are great for use with kids but also with pets, when entertaining, and for everyday protection to prolong the life of your dining chairs. They even work well in high traffic places like schools, conference centers, and labs.
The thing I like best is that they’re easy to clean. When my kids spill something, I usually just wipe it off with a wet rag but every so often I throw it in the washing machine and it comes out looking like new, no kidding!
You can easily install SmartSeat, watch this short video below for simple instructions.
