When you’re ready to purchase a car, you will want to find a reputable car dealer. Why, you ask?
Well I’m glad you asked!
We’ve partnered with Len Stoler Chrysler Dodge Jeep to bring you this post.
Finding a reputable dealer can be the difference between a really poor and really great car buying experience. A good dealer will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase, no matter what.
Here are a few things you can expect a reputable dealer to do for you:
This means they should know about the car, and share all pertinent information with you. They should show you the car’s maintenance log, the carfax, and be able to give you at least a little history (even if it’s just where it came from.)
You especially want this when it comes to the financial transaction. There’s nothing worse than playing a numbers game. Having a dealer who is upfront about costs and possible financing options is so much more pleasant to work with. In fact, I’ve personally walked away from dealers who have given us the run around. It’s not necessary. Sometimes it really is a numbers game and something is either going to work or it isn’t, it’s as simple as that. A good dealer knows that and will not try to push something that’s not in your best interest.
Clean Your Car
It’s so nice when you do purchase a car when the dealer goes the extra mile to make sure you’re happy. Cleaning the car from top to bottom, fixing any minor repairs if needed, and bringing it to you full of gas is just one more way they keep you coming back purchase after purchase.
I love it when a dealer follows up and makes sure we are happy with our purchase. It’s personal service like that that keeps us going back to the same dealer again and again.
