Choose Clothes the Day Before
You know the feeling of standing in your closet, looking everything over and feeling like you have nothing to wear? That’s me every time I have to go anywhere! Sometimes it can take me awhile to choose an outfit, and that’s time that I could be spending doing something else.
Choosing what I’m going to wear the day before means all I have to do is put it on. Trust me, the least amount of decisions I have to make in the morning, the better.
Have Makeup Organized
Scouring and searching for the right eyeliner, lipstick or mascara in the morning only leads to frustration. Not to mention emptied out drawers! Having all your makeup organized is a lifesaver and can shave valuable minutes off of your morning routine.
Personally, I don’t even like digging in a makeup bag when I get ready. Using a makeup organizer means I always know right where everything is and I can find it easily. The one I use is below, available on Amazon.
Blush Blush Baby
This is my secret to quick eye makeup when I’m in a hurry. It works especially well in the summer when it’s too hot for heavy eyeshadow. (Or in the winter when I just don’t feel like wearing any, ha ha!) Brush a little on your cheeks and face for an all-over glow.

Make Coffee the Night Before
Coffee is a must at my house every morning. Luckily I have this awesome coffee pot which allows me to make it the night before and set it so it’s piping hot when I get up. Let’s just say it makes for a much better morning for everyone.
Wash Hair the Day Before
After years and years of washing my hair every single day, I read that it’s actually not good to do so. Now I wash it anywhere from 2-4 times a week (depending on what I have going on) so it’s pretty easy to make sure I have it washed a day or two before to save time in the morning. Especially if you have long hair as it can take a bit longer to wash, not to mention dry and style.
