Start in Monterey and head down 3 miles south on Highway 1 to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Enjoy the shops, art galleries, and restaurants before continuing on to Point Lobos State Reserve, just another 3.5 miles south. Here you can enjoy a park with 205 species of birds and animals including black-tailed deer, sea otters, and grey foxes. Continue through Carmel Highlands and you” reach Big Sur (which extends 90 miles south to San Simeon). Marvel in the breathtaking views of redwood groves and the waves of the sea crashing onto the jagged rocks below. You can continue your journey through Garrapata State Park, and visit Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, San Simeon, Cambria, and finally end in Moro Bay.

The Olympic Peninsula is the large arm of land that lies across Puget Sound from Seattle. It comprises about 3600 square miles and is home to temperate rain forests, the Olympic mountain range, salmon-bearing rivers, and natural many natural lakes. U.S. Route 101 runs along the southern edge and up the western and northern shorelines, and is a great place to enjoy the drive in your new car.

A hook shaped peninsula in southeastern Massachusetts, its 15 main towns have everything from seafood shacks, lighthouses, quaint villages, and beaches. Hop on U.S. Route 6, which runs the entire length of the Cape, and visit the many lighthouses, beaches, or do a little fishing.
