For some people, trying to save for a down payment on your next car is tough. Many of us have way too much month left at the end of our money, if you know what I mean.
But if you have a little time and patience to follow the method below, it doesn't have to be so hard.
Check out the graphic below to see when and how much to save money so by the end of the year, you'll have a down payment for a car (or money for whatever you want!).
52 Week Savings Challenge
What I like about this method of saving money is that it starts out super easy. I mean, who can't afford $1.00 a week? $10 a month seems very doable for most people I think.
Everything is laid out for you here so there's no guess work. You'll know how much you need to save from week 1 to week 52, and everything in between.
Another great thing about this way of saving money is that it's flexible. If you find that you have the ability to save more in the beginning of the year then at the end, you can always do the challenge in reverse!
Or you can even mix up the weeks in any order you want, just as long as they're all getting used and crossed off the list. Maybe one week you can only save $10, but another you're able to save $48.
It doesn't have to be in order, you can actually save any of the amounts listed during any week and you'll get the same outcome, a nice chunk of change at the end of the year (or 52 week time period as it depends on when you start).
