Christmas time is not complete without desserts and with all the fun new desserts you see popping up all over Pinterest, it's nice to see the good ol' classic Christmas desserts are still being made and loved.

The other day I shared a post with Gotta Try Christmas Desserts and it was filled with lots of YUM! But this post is all about remembering the good ol' recipes we all have made for years.

So, dig out that mixing bowl, grab your ingredients and let the baking begin!

Eggnog Pie

My Gluten Free Kitchen has an interesting take on eggnog. So, if you love eggnog give this eggnog pie a try.

Hot Cocoa Cookies

Lemon Peony says if you love hot cocoa, you will just die for these cookies. Ok, maybe they didn't say that but I did. Hot cocoa is a loved sweet treat for all and now you can drink it, or chew it.

Christmas Fudge

Crayons and Cravings is giving us something fun here with a cookie, turned into fudge. A classic sugar cookie flavor in a yummy fudge dessert.

Oreo Truffles

Oreo's are a loved snack by so many and Cincy Shopper shows how you can make them into a delicious Christmas dessert. My family makes these every year, and they are a huge hit!

M&M Christmas Cookies

Tried and true M&M cookies are always a winner on the cookie plate. But Spend with Pennies makes these yummy cookies all festive with using only red and green M&M's.

Soft and Chewy Molasses Cookies

Growing up I was not a fan of ginger or molasses but as I got older my tastes changed and now I will take this over a sugar cookie any day. Play Party Plan has a great recipe for soft and chewy molasses cookies.

Eggnog Kaleidoscope Jello Recipe

Ann's Entitled Life brings lots of color to the holidays with a fun eggnog kaleidoscope jello recipe. This will be the most stunning food item on your table this holiday season.

Christmas Crack

Who would have thought such a yummy dessert could be made with saltine crackers? Well I Heart Nap Time gives us this great Christmas crack dessert that everyone will love and come back for more and more.

Gingerbread Holly Cookies

Every year I love doing up cookie plates and I try to find cookies that are festive looking. The Flying Couponer has super cute and festive gingerbread holly cookies that will make any cookie dessert place pop!

Gluten Free Fruit Cake

Fruit cake is an old tried and true recipe for sure. But, if you are needing a gluten free one then A Sweet Alternative has you covered with their gluten free fruit cake recipe.

Peppermint Fudge

Mommy Made That had me at peppermint and fudge, oh my. Both together just shoots me right to the moon and back and makes my holiday snacking complete. YUM!

Peppermint Bark

Pink Fortitude wants even people who are vegan to enjoy Christmas desserts and they have done up a yummy vegan peppermint bark that I bet if you didn't know it was vegan, you would be non the wiser.

Peppermint Biscotti

When I think of Biscotti I think of sitting in a coffee shop with friends, dipping it into my hot coffee. Not everyone eats it like that I know. Home Cooking Memories shows us a twist on Biscotti with this peppermint Biscotti recipe.

Melted Snowman Cookies

Smart Party Planning has my vote for the cutest classic Christmas desserts this year. These melted snowman cookies are just to die for taste wise, but it's hard to eat them as they are so dang cute!!
