Plus size trends are changing, and finding plus size fashion for work at home moms, or just moms in general, is getting easier than it ever used to be.
Being a blogger, I'm much more aware of the companies that offer plus size options in their fashion line. So I've compiled a list that I hope will be helpful to you in your search for comfortable clothing you can wear when you work at home.
Inventory is always changing with these amazing plus size clothing sites, so click on images to just go to the main site and find your own favorite fashions.
T-Shirt
Ah, my favorite piece. Yes it's true, I have more T-Shirts in my closet than anything else. I love them because you can dress them up or dress them down. T-Shirts pair well with jeans or leggings (which are all the rage, just in case you haven't heard!).
They also go with work-out wear, which let's face it, is so comfortable we often wear it even when we're not working out. And don't forget, they go with good old sweatpants!
There are such a wide variety of T-Shirts that there truly is something for everyone. You can find graphic tees, beautiful colored tees, and even inspirational tees.
Heck, you can even make your own tees! T-Shirts are a great option to add to your work at home wardrobe.
Jeans
Finding a comfortable pair of jeans can be tricky, especially if you're a plus sized woman. I know some people swear by jeans, they live in them and they're basically like their second skin.
And that's the problem as a plus size woman is finding ones that do fit right. I could go to a store that carries all sizes and cross my fingers that they will have my size. But personally I would much rather get my jeans from a store that carries only plus sized clothing as they are much more likely to have my size in stock.
My favorite place to get jeans thus far is Lane Bryant. I've actually found jeans that are so comfortable, they don't even feel like jeans, they feel more like stretch pants. I'm actually enjoying wearing jeans again, even when I'm working at home all day.
What I love about jeans too is that they can transition from casual to dressy. You can wear a pair casually all day, then change your shirt, shoes and add a few accessories and dress then up to go out for the evening.
Be sure to check out the great selection of jeans from Lane Bryant.
Long Sleeve Top
When the weather is a bit colder, you might need a little more than a short sleeve T-Shirt, even when working at home. There are many styles of long sleeve tops that are both comfortable and stylish. Here's the one Lane Bryant sent me.
Lace-up Grommet Top
This top seriously so comfortable and warm, but thin enough that I don't sweat in it, LOL! Unfortunately it's no longer available on their website but there are many other stylish long sleeve tops you can find.
Sweatshirt
Sweatshirts are my favorite! Living in Oregon, we always have sweatshirts handy because it's usually cool and you never know when the rain will start. Even working at home, a cozy sweatshirt is a regular staple in my wardrobe.

Leggings
Whether you wear them to work out or to work at home, leggings are probably the most comfortable pants on the planet. They give when you need them to give, and forgive when you need them to forgive…ha ha!
Leggings are my go-to pants for a day of working at home. I mean, if I'm working in a chair for hours on end, I might as well be comfortable, right?
Moms in general love leggings because of their comfort factor. And the fact that you can wear them all day and then wear them to bed as well if you choose (because sometimes, you just want to go to bed!).
Lane Bryant has a really good selection of leggings, you can check them out here.
Now on to my must-have work at home fashion staple!
Pajamas
I know, I know, you've probably heard the same advice: Get up and get dressed, even if you work at home.
But there are days where if I know I'm not meeting with anyone or don't have to go out, I really don't want to take that extra time to get ready when I have so much work to do.
When the only ones who are going to see me are my husband and kids (and they don't care what I'm wearing), why should I bother when pajamas are so comfortable?
I have to say though that my pajama wardrobe used to be pathetic. I mean, wearing hand me down bottoms from my husband and son, although comfortable, don't really make me feel good about what I'm wearing.
So since I've started working at home, I've added to my pajama collection, piece by piece. I love getting new pajamas because it allows me to be comfortable and also feel good on those days where I stay in my pajamas all day (and they do happen people, usually at least once or twice a week!).
Here's the latest addition to my pajama wardrobe, thanks to Lane Bryant!
These are SOOOOOOOOO comfy, they're quickly becoming my new favorite around-the-house wear!
Well there you have it, some great options in plus size fashion for work at home moms! These pieces are really great for all moms, whether you're going grocery shopping or taking your kids to the park.
You want to look good and feel good, and choosing clothing that is comfortable and fits well will help you achieve that.
A big thank you to Lane Bryant for providing the clothing for this post, and beyond that, for focusing on making plus size women everywhere look and feel good!

Gina
I hear you on the work at home wardrobe. I hate to get dressed if I’m not leaving the house. I love my pajamas. I’ve been known to change back into pajamas when I get home too!
I need new jeans since I’m down to like 1 or 2 pair. I’ll have to check out Lane Bryant. Those clothes and pajamas look so comfy.

I Finally found them in the most unlikely store! I am a size 18 and tall It’s an odd combination to find pants that fit. I miss Lane Bryant so bad… Great article with amazing STYLE!
Kimi Clark
Thanks so much Jessica! So sad they closed your store, we don’t have one in town either but it’s only about 25 minutes away so it’s not that bad. Glad you stopped by! 🙂

Those outfits look cute on you. You’re so right about jeans. I have a horrible time finding good fitting jeans, plus I usually need petites or they have to be hemmed.
Kimi Clark
Thanks so much Katharine! Can you believe I posted a pic in my PJ’s? I’m getting brave, LOL! 🙂
Rose Siders
All of these are so cute but those jammies! <3 I have a bad habit of wearing beat up sweats, t-shirt and no bra when I'm working from home. Not a good look. I notice the days I do "get dressed to shoes" I not only FEEL better but I am more productive.
Kimi Clark
My favorite jammies by far Rose! I tell my husband that I need a full pajama wardrobe since that’s what I spend half my life wearing, ha ha! Getting “dressed to shoes” (never heard that by the way, love it!) does make me feel better, but many days it just doesn’t happen working from home. Thanks so much for stopping by!
