You see, I've been there with my kids. Thinking that if our family couldn't afford an all-out fly somewhere vacation then we weren't going to go anywhere at all. All I could think about was the stress of being stuck in the car with the kids…the noise, the mess, the stress.

Many people do want to get out and travel but just don't have the means to pay for airfare along with food, lodging, and all the other expenses that go along with taking a vacation. Taking a road trip, especially if you're sticking closer to home, can really save you in the expense department. And trust me, that extra money will come in handy when paying for all the food and snacks your kids will need.  🙂

You Get to Experience All The Places You're Traveling Through on the Way to Where You're Going

Traveling with children,  you will definitely be making a lot of stops. This can actually be a good thing. It might force you to slow down and enjoy the journey. Stop and see the sights, enjoy the cities or country side you're traveling through, and really soak up the whole experience. Make memories, and take lots of pictures!
